The Boulevard Coffee Co. is something that I started during the Covid-19 Pandemic in November of 2020. I had been interested in the process of coffee roasting and home brewing for a long time, but never fully dove in. Once there was a lot more free time, I decided to look into what it would take to make these dreams a reality. One approach to this hobby has been incorporating social media knowledge along with my creative side to make some dynamic videos and photos.

After a failed attempt in my home kitchen (where my wife said never again…) I took the operation outside in the backyard. I began roasting by cast-iron skillet and soon realized that I was not giving the beans enough movement. This led to some of my beans being under roasted, but mostly burnt. After finding a video where someone used a rotisserie basket, I was sold on my new operation.
